Take Mt. Rose Highway (Hwy 431) from Incline Village to the stoplight at Hwy 395. Cross 395 and go straight ahead up the Geiger Grade to Virginia City.

In its heyday during the silver/gold rush of the 1860’s, Virginia City was home to nearly 30,000 miners who came to seek their fortunes. There is plenty for visitors to see and do including museums, mine tours, live theatre shows and historic landmarks. Plan on spending an entire day to see it all. It is a must see attraction and fun for the entire family.
