There are three ice skating rinks in the North Lake Tahoe area. The most spectacular is without a doubt the High Camp rink at the Squaw Valley ski resort. From the base lodge you take an aerial tram to the 8,200-foot level High Camp. In addition to the Olympic sized ice skating rink this high alpine facility offers a swimming pool, hot tub, bungee diving platform, bar and restaurant. The view from the tram and the entire High Camp complex is fantastic! This activity is highly recommended for all visitors to Lake Tahoe. Dont forget to check out the climbing wall in the lower tramcar building. Below find listings for local ice skating rinks.
