SKATEBOARD PARKS

There are two skateboard parks in the North Lake Tahoe region. Both are free and open to the public during the daytime. Below find information on the regions’ skateboard facilities. Incline Village Skate Park Description – This newly constructed pool style skateboard park is very popular with the young at heart. Located at the corner of Southwood Boulevard and Tahoe Boulevard (SR 28), near the Incline Middle School. Open during daylight hours. Riders are encouraged to wear helmets and safety gear. This facility is not lighted for nighttime use.

Description – This very popular skateboard park is also not lighted for nighttime use. The Truckee Regional Park is free and open to the public. The park also includes an ice-skating rink (November through March), 4 picnic areas, an 18-hole disc golf course, a sand volleyball court, 2 baseball fields, 2 playgrounds, an amphitheater and nature trails.
Driving time – 30 minutes. Driving distance – 25 miles.
Turn left off Highway 267 onto Brockway Road. The park is on the right across from the Martis Cinema.
